. It's been on my mind lately as I try to peddle my comics to outlets. It often feels like there's a divide between "serious" writers and people who merely make jokes - and the kind of opportunities you can have doing them for a living. Too many writers and pundits take themselves so seriously that their work is completely devoid of anything that could potentially curl the edge of a mouth. I'm actually suspicious of a mind that is either unable or unwilling to employ humor.
