Yesterday on Cartoon Movement we published the following
from Sherif Arafa, an Egyptian editorial cartoonist who works for a state-run newspaper. He's been highly critical of Mubarak in the past, but always had to direct his commentary through a thinly veiled character he created to represent authority and oppression in Egypt.
This is the first time he's drawn Hosni Mubarak in an editorial cartoon.
For those who are curious, the panels are numbered to indicate the reading direction for those accustomed to reading Arabic from right to left.
